Alberta Biodiesel Association

Function

The Alberta Biodiesel Association (ABA) is a non-profit organization established to:

• promote the use of biodiesel through education, outreach and regular meetings;
• provide for the exchange of relevant information with other interested organizations, but avoid endorsing any individual, company, process or commercial product;
• recommend biodiesel as a viable alternative source of renewable energy benefiting economic development and environmental sustainability;
• encourage production, storage and handling compliance in accordance with acceptable and designated regulatory industry standards.

Information provided through the ABA, and intended only to serve as a guideline, is compiled from various industry related sources generally considered reliable.  The ABA will endeavor to update pertinent information as it becomes available, but makes no claim, expressed or implied, as to the data applicability for intended use.  End-users are advised to satisfy themselves as to data accuracy and suitability for specific projects.

Privacy

The ABA will attempt to keep confidential any personal or private information obtained from its members, and not divulge or distribute any of it to external sources unless having obtained prior permission.
